90s VINTAGE FASHION:THE NEW OLD

'What goes around comes around,' a saying that commonly expresses karma as well as the fashion cycle too. Trends and style popular in the 90s were replaced with other styles and were considered 'old and ugly' after an era. 90s fashion is back and looked at as  'fashionable and dope.'

According to people who deem things vintage-turns out vintage isn't just synonymous with 'really old' from the 1990s can now officially be deemed vintage. Vintage clothing is a term for garment originating from a previous era.

Here are some of the '90s vintage clothing resurfacing back in the 2020s:

1. Biker shorts.

From Instagram influencers styling in every kind of outfits, combining them with hairy slides and heels, bomber jackets, crop tops and mini dresses. 

In the '90s, the era in which we saw Princess Diana already rocking the biker shorts. It had  already been shown off in the gym, but also styled under dresses and baggy T-shirts.

2.Cargo pants. 

Cargo pants had their moment of cool in the '90s and early 2000s wardrobe. I mean who doesn't remember Destiny's child in full Cargo fit in their "survivor" video?

And now with pop-stars like Rihanna being photographed in Cargo pants, they're definitely making a full comeback. Cargo pants are found in vintage shops and we've seen high-end fashion brands re-designing and showcasing them on runways. 

3. Shoulder bags.

Am I the only one who had a whole modelling career in my mom's room? The shoulder bags were an essential.  

With the scrolling on Instagram, you've definitely come across thrift shops selling the shoulder bags.
